McCain, Obama head for battlegrounds September 5, 2008

Tussling for the change mantle as well as votes after their party conventions, John McCain and Barack Obama are both in battleground states today for the start of the two-month intense sprint to the election.

Fresh off the GOP gathering, McCain, with his surprise but popular running mate Sarah Palin in tow, is in Wisconsin today.

Obama, meanwhile, is back in Pennsylvania. So is his running mate Joe Biden, in separate events.

Their campaigns are trying to convince voters, who overwhelmingly say the country is headed down the wrong track, that they’re the better one to right the ship. Source Article
