A CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll released tonight suggests that most Americans believe Joe Biden won the vice presidential debate: 51 percent said Biden, while 36 percent said Republican Sarah Palin, 11 percent said both, and 2 percent said neither.

In terms of expectations, 84 percent said Palin did better than expected and 7 percent said worse, while 64 percent said Biden did better than expected and 14 percent worse.

But in terms of qualifications to be president, those answering yes about Palin rose only slightly to 46 percent after the debate from 42 percent before it. And Palin’s favorability rating only rose by 8 percentage points to 56 percent.    Source Article
