DENVER — One of the biggest dangers of the protracted primary season on the Democratic side was that it providing Republicans with hours of video of the top contenders bickering relentlessly.
John McCain’s campaign has already put the video to good use — launching an ad in the hours after Sen. Joe Biden was named Barack Obama’s running mate that featured the Delaware Democrat expressing doubts about the Illinois senator’s experience for the job.
Today the McCain campaign is back at it, with an ad featuring comments made by Hillary Rodham Clinton in the primary that sought to raise questions about Obama.
Clinton responded forcefully in a statement released this afternoon. “Hillary Clinton’s support of Barack Obama is clear,” said spokeswoman Kathleen Strand. “She has said repeatedly that Barack Obama and she share a commitment to changing the direction of the country, getting us out of Iraq, and expanding access to health care. John McCain doesn’t.” Source Article
